Network Mapping
Below is the Network Map that I have created for myself, including the people I know who may be able to help me become a part of the media industry and may also have further contacts that I could use.
My Network Map is currently not very big and does not include many people who are working in the journalism industry. However, since I have started to look for internships and work experience I have started to reach out to people currently working as journalists. Also, since I have started to use LinkedIn recently, I have found many new opportunities to connect with people and companies in this way. Through continued use of LinkedIn and looking for work experience, I hope that I can continue to network myself and expand on my current Network Map.
